Make a submission

Members of the public can be involved in public submission processes by organisations such as WA government departments, statutory authorities or Parliamentary Committee inquiries, by writing submissions or giving oral evidence at a hearing.

Submissions remain confidential until the relevant public body determines its status.

What should your submission cover?

  • Submissions should address the terms of reference for an inquiry.

What happens to your submission?

  • All submissions are considered;
  • You may be contacted for further information on matters you raise;
  • Parliament Committees may conduct hearings as part of the inquiry process.

Lodging your submission:

For Parliamentary Committee inquiries you can Email, Post or Fax your submission to the addresses and numbers on the Committee’s webpage. (note: If you email your submission, you will need to affix an electronic signature).
