Make a submission to a committee

Members of the public can be involved in Parliamentary Committee inquiries by writing submissions and giving oral evidence at a hearing.  Submissions remain confidential until the Committee determines its status.

What should your submission cover?

  • Submissions should address the terms of reference for an inquiry.

What happens to your submission?

  • All submissions are considered by the Committee;
  • You may be contacted for further information on matters you raise;
  • Committee’s may conduct hearings as part of the inquiry process.

Lodging your submission:

You can Email, Post or Fax your submission to the addresses and numbers on the Committee’s webpage. (note: If you email your submission, you will need to affix an electronic signature).
